Demolition Work in Summer of 2006
After three miserable days of working in 90-100+ degree heat upstairs, we broke down and bought the last air conditioner available in Kane County. We also installed shades (temporarily) to the upstairs windows to help decrease the temperature. Additionally, we removed the "shelving unit" in front of the south window.

Now was the time to lose our only closet. This room will house the upstairs furnace. We removed all the shelving, trim and "ceiling tile". I had a LOT of wood stored upstairs, which had to be relocated to the new shed out back. Plus, we purchased some temporary clothing closets to use until our bedroom and walk-in closet are finished upstairs.
This room will be divided to create a walk-in closet and upstairs bathroom.
